COMPLETION
There are 4 types of homework:
Students are encouraged to complete ALL questions. There will be some delay between the issuing of work in class and updating this page. Thus, students are encouraged to be present at all classes and to take up the responsibility to ask another classmate when a class is missed.
Please be reminded that unless there is a very good reason, late homework will not be assessed. Unmarked work (including incomplete work) will count against your grade in the class and homework component of your endofterm report.
COLLECTION
The following lists the days on which I shall collect homework at the end of the class. (The numbers in brackets show the previous days from which homework should have been completed.)
There are 4 types of homework:
[ASSESSED] SET QUESTIONS. The homework that I issue in class is the minimum required work (from the textbook) and must be completed by collection time.
[MARKED, but not ASSESSED] ALL TEXTBOOK QUESTIONS. I will mark this homework to give you additional feedback on your progress, but it does not contribute to your class component of the term mark.
[MARKED and may be ASSESSED] WORKBOOK QUESTIONS. In case of mischievous behaviour in the classroom, I may issue additional homework (which will be assessed). Otherwise complete these exercises at your own pace as revision for quizzes and tests (which will not be assessed.
[NOT MARKED] SUPPLEMENTARY QUESTIONS. Complete at your own pace. Solutions will be posted by the end of the following cycle.
